Hi, it's Grandma Shirley... I'm so glad you are doing this. I think it will make the 90 miles not seem quite so far away. I am looking forward to being with you guys on Tuesday night, through the rest of the week.

Love U 3

Congratulations Doug and Shana. Kealee is so cute. I tried to type a message earlier, but I am so computer illiterate that I didn't realize I needed an account. So basically, what I said was that Shana feel free to call me ANY TIME. The best thing my girlfriends did for me was to check in to see how I was handling the sleep deprivation and the massive hormone fluctuation. I kept asking them, "when will Jake sleep all night?" Don't worry, eventually it will happen. And Doug, keep helping out! A good daddy and husband is a true blessing! Oh, and Doug, at times you might think (as Darren puts it about me) your wife is a little crazy , but realize that she just gave birth and is a new mom and has once again the massive hormone shift. Parenting is wonderful and enjoy holding that little girl!

I can't believe how much I have missed Kealee today...I have had her on my mind all day...had to call at noon as I left work....just to check in. I am sure Grandma Shirley is doing a good job taking care of the girls. Jim is concerned about when we will next see her...he is as smitten as I am if not more! He mumbles something about her being so sweet...she has him hooked...hook, line, and sinker....which reminds him she will need a fish'in pole...she must learn to fish!!!

Welcome to The Club! Daddy Doug...I think it has a nice ring to it. Shana--I hope we get to trade war stories soon. As our Finish friends would say, I think Kealee was "wurt to wait!" (worth the wait). Blessings!
